Argentina - President Lies AGAIN ! - Macri accuses CFK of 'stating falsehoods' over subway service

Mayor Mauricio Macri assured President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner said seven falsehoods regarding the transfer of the management of the subway service and summoned her for a private meeting to work in the issue.

“I do not know who told you that 240 Federal Police officers guard the subway stations, President, but that is a lie. There almost 1200 police officers guarding them. Minister Garré lied to you. I would like to know who gave you that information,” Macri said during a press conference.

He also stressed the importance of debating over symbolism and reality, regarding the state of the subways and once again called for a private meeting with the Head of State “to discuss several topics in common.”

“The fact that the President did not mention inflation, insecurity, and that she could not make any self-criticism regarding the lack of investment in transportation in the last ten years in a 3 hour speech is incredible,” he added.
