Navy turns 237, all-hands call with CNO, MCPON

Two days before the cake-cutting, sailors can celebrate the Navy’s 237th birthday with an all-hands call featuring the service’s top officer and top enlisted.

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jon Greenert and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (AW/NAC) Mike Stevens will host an all-hands call Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. Eastern time that will be available for viewing via multiple outlets, according to a Navy news release:

• TV: Direct-to-Sailor network; Pentagon Channel.

• Online, with chat: www.livestream.com/usnavy

• Online, no chat:www.navy.mil.

Sailors can email questions for the CNO and MCPON before and during the call to usntownhall@gmail.com, or via the Livestream chat. Sailors should include name, rank, rate and command with their questions, according to a fleetwide message, NAVADMIN 303/12, announcing the call.

The fleet turns 237 on Oct. 13.
