Syria - Khamenei: Iran Firmly Opposes All Foreign Interference in the Syrian Internal Affairs

Iran's Supreme Leader Anal Khamenei said that Iran will strongly confront any US project targeting Syria, adding that it firmly opposes all foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs.

During his meeting with the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday, Khamenei said that Iran will strongly confront any US scheme against Syria and will defend it as the protector of resistance against the Zionist enemy, reiterating support for reforms in Syria.

Khamenei stressed the importance that independent states make sound decisions, warning that the US is using the countries of the region as tools for promoting its interests.
