The crew of the Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS LOUISVILLE (SSN-724) received the Battle “E” award at Pearl Harbor, HI. The Battle "E" award recognizes sustained superior performance in all areas of combat readiness. Ships compete in four combat areas: maritime warfare, engineering/survivability, command and control, and logistics management.
