Submarine Learning Center names Civilian of the Quarter

Groton — The Submarine Learning Center named its Civilian of the Quarter for the first quarter.

Michael D. Cummings, an instructional systems designer, was lauded for providing exceptional project management for a maintenance simulator.

Capt. Emil C. Casciano, the center’s commanding officer, said Cummings’ “technical expertise, foresight and unwavering dedication to training established a rock solid foundation upon which the superior performance of the navigations/operations department of the submarine force will be sustained well into the future.”
