- 1942 - USS Guardfish (SS 217) is commissioned
- 1944 - Keel is laid for the USS Tigrone (SS 419)
- 1953 - USS Tunny (SS-282), prototype SSG conversion is recommissioned. She is the first U. S. submarine equipped to fire surface-to-surface Regulus missiles.
- 1962 - USS Lafayette (SSBN 616) is launched
- 1970 - USS Tench (SS 417) is decommissioned for the second time
- 1976 - Keel is laid for the USS Bremerton (SSN 698)
- 1980 - Keel is laid for the USS Portsmouth (SSN 707)
- 1982 - USS Buffalo (SSN 715) is launched
