Sudan: Armed Forces Announce Control Over Situations in Um Ruaba City

The Official Spokesman of the Armed Forces Col. Aswarmi Khalid Saad has announced in statement that the armed forces has taken control over the situations in Um Ruaba city in North Kordofan State following the flagrant assault on the city by the remnants of the so-called revolutionary Front.

The statement has affirmed that the armed forces were able to contain the situation and arrange the security situation after falling remnants of the defeated rebels.

The statement has asserted full control of the armed forces on situations in the city and its arrangement for security situations following the destruction of some vital installations in the city, and looting of property of citizens by the mercenaries and rebels of the so-called revolutionary Front a thing which contradicts the Sudanese virtuous morality.

The statement indicated that the armed forces still continue chasing the remnants of the rebels who are scattered in different directions, affirming the armed forces work to clean and comb all the surrounding and remote areas to bring security and stability in all the areas.

The armed forces official spokesman has hailed the martyrs of the armed forces, the police forces who had bravely defended their stations and the property of the citizens, and the martyrs of the unarmed civilians.
