  • 1938 - Keel is laid for the USS Searaven (SS 196)
  • 1944 - USS Tirante (SS 420) is launched
  • 1968 - USS Von Stuben (SSBN-632) Collides with tanker Sealady 40 miles of coast of Spain
  • 1969 - USS Puffer (SSN 652) is commissioned
