Hezbollah: intelligence allowed resistance to protect missiles in 2006 war

BEIRUT: Hezbollah Secretary-General said Wednesday that through information gathering the resistance group managed to uncover Israel’s detailed plans to strike at missile sites during the July-August 2006 war.

“The resistance managed to foil this plan,” Nasrallah said, adding that Hebzbollah’s missiles had been relocated when Israel “first strike” was launched against south Lebanon in July 2006.

He also warned the Jewish state of carrying out any similar operation, vowing the resistance “has plenty of surprises” should Israel launch another war.
