US top military official off to Israel

US top military commander, Army General Martin Dempsey, is scheduled for talks in Israel this week, from reports citing the Israeli Defense Ministry. 

The ministry has not disclosed the agenda of the meeting, but Iran issue is expected to be discussed. Israel has repeatedly hinted it might take military action against the country alleged of developing nuclear weapon. 

The United States are concerned over the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran. The tensions in the region remain very high since the UN nuclear watchdog confirmed that Iran has the capability of developing nuclear weapon.
